About the Founder/Creative Director

A native of Louisiana and a proud adopted Texan, Camille Amos has taken event planning and design to new heights by building a team that consistently delivers the utmost in quality, creative, and unique event design. With a B.S. in Business Management from Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Ms. Amos always knew that being an entrepreneur was in her future. Ms. Amos began planning events in 2000 for her beloved sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., which sparked her interest in event planning. From that point, she took on other projects including weddings, birthday parties, and anniversary parties, and from this love of creating experiences that bring joy and create wonderful memories, Hou-Lux Events was borne in 2015. After rebranding the business in 2021, Hou-Lux Events proudly declared Fete & Fanfare Events as its new identity.
